Snow Day 2011!!!!

its been a year now

I am pretty sure no one is looking at this blog since it has been over a year since I have posted on it. Trip is now 2 and Kellynn is 5 going on 30. Will is in his second term as Mayor and I am now working 2 days a week for Pryor and Morrow. I passed my professional exam FINALLY so now I am a licensed interior designer!!! WOOHOO!! I have been running for about a year now and have completed 3 5K's. Will and I are training for a 10K in Vicksburg and then off to Pensacola for the McGuires 5K. That should feel like cake after the 10K. It started as a way to lose baby weight and then it became an obsession! Well, I can't hold my eyes open any longer! Hope to be back sooner than later!

Today I am at work, but exhausted because yesterday I had the brilliant idea to go to the waterpark with ALL the kiddos. I am glad we did though; it was a lot of fun. However, 3 moms with 8 kids from ages 10 months to 9 was crazy. I don't know how Jon and Kate did not lose a few every now and then! Oh yeah, they had a stage crew that helped baby sit 24-7.

Victory 2009!

Well, as most of you know, Will ran for Mayor in our hometown of Louisville, and WON! We have been through 3 elections and had a larger turn out in the general than we did in the primary and run off! Will won with 75% of the vote, which is HUGE! I am so proud of him and I know he is going to do a fantastic job as Mayor. Here are some pictures from the party.

Love Love Love this shot. Early on a Saturday morning, I put a pallet outside for Trip to sit on and Kellynn wanted to sit with him, the lighting is perfect in this and I love how he is looking down.

Happy Easter!

What a great weekend we have had. It was of course too short. Trip had his first Easter, and Kellynn had the first one she will remember probably. I was off Friday which was nice until Trip had to get his 6 month immunizations(that are a month late). He did not do very well with them at all! He was one fussy baby and ran fever too. Gladly, he is much better now and talking up a storm! It is so hard to leave them every morning. I really hope Will wins the Mayoral race so maybe just maybe we can re-think my work schedule. I would much rather be full-time mom and part-time interior designer!!!!! Well, here are a few little pictures of the weekend. Enjoy!

Kellynn is a Barbie fanatic! So, she got yet another Barbie and was SOOOO excited! We took her to Church and she was put on the roll in Sunday School, just like Baby Jane (her groovy girl).

New Pictures

I have decided to fill my big empty foyer wall with scads of pictures of my kids, so I got started this weekend taking pictures. These are just two of them. Trip is 7 months old tomorrow, and Kellynn will be 4 in August! I can't believe my babies are getting so big!

The dentist

Well, I am embarrassed to say that Kellynn had a cavity. Yep! Aren't I a great mother? Anyway, yesterday was our second trip to the dentist to get the cavity "bug" out of her tooth. Needless to say, it was a nightmare! I felt like I had run a marathon when i got home. I had to lay in the dentist chair, then she laid on top of me! She would not leave the "happy gas" on her nose long enough to calm her down, and she was scared to death of the suction tube that gets the spit out. (she was scared to death of the whole scene) It only took us 45 minutes and about 8 dental assistants to keep her calm! I felt sorry for all the other people in there drowning in their drool because all the sweet assistants were in talking to Kellynn. Poor Dr. Donald. I know he was glad that was over with. AND SO AM I!!!

Time to Dance

Well, the Bulldogs did it! SEC Champions, once again. It was a long tough road, but they made it. I just could not watch the last 9 seconds that lasted 30 minutes! I was a nervous wreck! So, i just went to the kitchen and started cleaning vigorously. Trip was napping and Kellynn was with her Daddy watching the game at the Bypass. After about 10 minutes, I thought surely it will be over and I will know if we won or lost, but NO! There were still 8 seconds to go, but we were up by one and shooting free throws! Whew! After making those, Tennessee HAD to shoot a 3 pointer to tie, but they missed and we rebounded with 2 seconds to go, and ran out the clock! Anyway, I am sure you all watched it and did not care to hear me give the play-by play, but there was nothing else to write about today!

Running for Mayor

Well, it is official. As of last Friday, Will is running for Mayor in the city of Louisville. We have been talking, debating, praying, and seeking guidance on the matter for months. After much deliberation we made a decision a couple of weeks ago to just go for it. Will and I both love our city so much and we plan to live there for the rest of our lives and raise our children there, send them to school there, go to church there,and hopefully if God sees fit, retire there! With all that we are committed to do there, we want to see Louisville succeed and prosper to it's greatest ability. We know that it can, because it has before! Will is passionate about serving and feels like the Lord is calling him to do this. I am behind him 110% and look forward to a clean race and hopefully a successful term(s) as Mayor. Anyone who reads this is more than likely not going to able to vote because you live in other places, but you can PRAY! Please pray that God's will is done in this campaign, and that if Will does win this, he will be a leader not only for the City of Louisville, but for the kingdom as well. This is my little Trip! What an angel. Will and I are so blessed to have such beautiful healthy kids. Trip said "Da Da" this morning, I think. At least Will is claiming that he did! Anyway, he just go over a bad ear infection and last night was the first good sleep we have all had in a long time!

Here is my Kellynn. She has a personality that will just light up the world! We went to Starkville yesterday to take Trip to the doctor again, and she just had to have "chips n cheese" from Pepper's Deli. So we did. That is her absolute favorite food. This picture was taken at Christmas

Forgive me bloggers, for it has been 4 months since my last entry! I am terrible at this. I will try to do better.
Trip is now 6 months old and the cutest thing! He looks so much like Kellynn it is scary. Kellynn is 3 years old and will be 4 in August. I am attaching pictures!

bad blogger

ok, it has been about 9 months since i have done this. Shame on me! Well, i have a beautiful baby boy now and Kellynn is now 3 years old. I am waiting on the photographer to post our latest pictures before i put them up.

Doctor

Monday was my doctor's appointment and Kellynn went with me to "see" the baby. We did our second sonogram. This was the one where we could find out the sex, but we chose not to know! It was fun not knowing with Kellynn, so we are not finding out again. She had fun and loved to hear the heartbeat.

After that we were starving so we went to MacAllister's Deli for lunch, and then to Target for some fun browsing around. Unfortunately that was the end of my shopping for the day due to a drop in blood sugar that resulted in laying in the middle of the floor at the front door of Target. Fun.

Everything checked out okay. I had to go BACK to the Dr. for some bloodwork to make sure everything was fine and to have one more listen to the heartbeat just to double check. Will had to get my mom to drive him to Jackson to pick me up because I was too worn out to drive.
What a day!

Orange Beach

Well, we just got home from a vacation at Orange Beach, AL. What a beautiful place to visit! We stayed 4 days and had a blast. Kellynn is a beach bum and loves the sand, so she and her daddy played and played. I just sat and watched, it was so relaxing.
I am ready for the next trip now, which will probably just be to the hospital to have a baby(in Sept.) But that will be great too!! Below are a couple of pictures from our trip.

First Time

Well, I have never had a blog before, so this is new to me! I thought this would be neat for my friends and family that are out of town to keep up with us!

Let me introduce my family to you!

Will is my husband of almost 5 years now and we have a daughter, Kellynn, who will soon be turning 3 years old. I am pregnant with our second baby who is due to arrive on September 25th! YAY!

We live in Louisville, MS where we were both born and raised.

Our lives are pretty normal, so there will be days where there is nothing to say except i worked all day and then went to bed at 8:30!
